I specialize in color melts, dimensional reds and brunettes and color corrections. I also specialize in cutting thick and curly hair textures. I feel confident to be able to give you looks for ANY occasion! From bold all the way to bridal-- I got you girl! I am also certified in Brazilian Blowout and Aqua Tape-In Hair Extensions.

I established Absolute Hair Studio in 2008 in Wausau Wisconsin. I have been licensed and working behind the chair since 2003. I have created a beautiful classic clean environment. I have been working as a stylist for 20 years and I love it. I love meeting new people and customizing their hair color and cuts to fit them individually. Ric Collins

I'm Ric, a licensed Cosmetologist for 40 years and licensed Cosmetology Instructor for 20 years. I've spent most of my career in Milwaukee but settled in Wausau about 10 years ago. I specialize in women's haircuts, all coloring processes, perms and Brazilian Blowouts. Also certified in Perfectress hair extensions. As a level 3 Reiki Master, all services are infused with reiki energy. My passion is to make the world more beautiful one hairstyle at a time. Looking forward to seeing to soon!

I have been doing hair since 2017, and while I love all areas of the industry I specialize in blonding. Highlights, balayage and all over blonde! I am here to give you the blonde hair of your dreams while still protecting your hair and keeping it strong and healthy. I also specialize in men's cuts and am certified in tape in extensions and Brazilian Blowout services. My goal is to make you feel comfortable while in my chair and have you feeling like the best version of yourself when you leave!

I bring 34 years of experience in the beauty industry, including 25 years as a salon owner, to my work behind the chair. Throughout my career, my focus has remained the same: delivering exceptional hair, personalized service, and an experience rooted in trust and artistry. Nicki’s Hair Frenzy, now located inside Absolute Hair at 538 S. 1st Ave, reflects the evolution of my career — I specialize in precision cuts, dimensional color, highlights, blonding, and customized treatments. I believe great hair is intentional, never rushed, and always personal. Every appointment is tailored, thoughtful, and grounded in years of hands-on expertise. Outside the salon, I enjoy time at home cooking, creating, and spending time with loved ones (and my pup 🐾). That sense of comfort and creativity carries into my work, creating an environment where clients feel relaxed, confident, and cared for.
